With the Monroe County Fair in full swing and a big holiday this week, Amy is going to be busy! We'd love for you to come out and see her, talk about current issues, and find out about what is happening in the state legislature.

Description: Want a fun and easy way to support Amy Oliver? Join us at the Monroe County Fair! We’re looking for friendly volunteers to hang out at the Monroe County Democratic Party booth to represent Amy's campaign, connect with local voters, and pass out treats and literature. It’s a relaxed, high-energy environment and a wonderful way to show our community the strong momentum behind Amy. No prior volunteer experience is necessary, just bring your smile!
Now that the primaries are over, WE NEED YOUR HELP MORE THAN EVER!
Other ways to get involved is to join our teams that regularly make phone calls and go knocking from door-to-door to introduce people to Amy Huffman Oliver as a candidate for District 62.
Do you like to walk in parades?
Team Oliver will be appearing in several parades through the coming months. We had a great turnout for the Harrodsburg Parade on May 16th despite a bit of rain. These days are always a fun, positive atmosphere and a great time with like-minded supporters. Check back for more specifics when we receive the information for these fun community-building events.
NEXT UP: Bloomington's 4th of July Parade. We’d love to have volunteers walking in the parade wearing Amy Oliver t-shirts!

Description: Want a fun and energetic way to support Amy Oliver? Join us for the Bloomington 4th of July Parade! This is one of the biggest events of the entire season, and we need to show up in full force to demonstrate strong community support. We are looking for an enthusiastic group of volunteers to walk alongside Amy, pass out treats, and connect with voters all along the route. It’s going to be a high-energy, festive morning and a powerful way to show Bloomington the incredible momentum behind Amy's campaign. If talking on the phone is your thing, come do some phone banking.
You will be trained and given a script to follow, and there are always campaign team leaders available to answer questions that may arise.
Phone calls happen on Wednesdays:
» 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Oliver Headquarters in Nashville

» 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Oliver Headquarters in Bloomington
(115 E. Second St. Suite 3)
If you prefer to get out and meet people face-to-face, come join our canvassers.
If you've never gone door knocking before, you'll be paired with an experienced canvasser as well as given training and a script to follow. It's a great way to meet new people in your neighborhood and see parts of town you might not have seen before.
Currently canvassing teams go out on a regular schedule in Monroe County:
» Saturdays 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and 2:00-4:00 p.m.
» Sundays 2:00-4:00 p.m.
