Congratulationsto Amy Huffman Oliver on being named one of the Supermajority Breaking 11 in Indiana by the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee! We are asking your help to meet this new DLCC Challenge: $11,000 in 11 days from June 1 to June 11.

:: Amy will be attending the Hoosier Hospitality Dinner at the Indiana State Democratic Convention on Friday, June 5, and voting as a Delegate in selecting our Candidates for Secretary of State, Comptroller, and Treasurer on Saturday, June 6. Look for our blue t-shirts among the 9th District and Brown County delegations. Visit the INDEMS State Convention site and scroll past all the activities to find the link to register as a guest to attend.

To do that, WE NEED YOU! We're looking for awesome folks to be at the booth, chat with our neighbors, have fun with campaign props in our photo booth, and help us flip this district blue. Other ways to get involved is to join our teams that regularly make phone calls and go knocking from door-to-door to introduce people to Amy Huffman Oliver as a candidate for District 62.
Do you like to walk in parades?
Team Oliver will be appearing in several parades through the coming months. We had a great turnout for the Harrodsburg Parade on May 16th despite a bit of rain. These days are always a fun, positive atmosphere and a great time with like-minded supporters. Check back for more specifics when we receive the information for these fun community-building events. Next up: Bloomington's 4th of July Parade. Look for info as we get closer to this special holiday!
If talking on the phone is your thing, come do some phone banking.
You will be trained and given a script to follow, and there are always campaign team leaders available to answer questions that may arise.
Phone calls happen on Wednesdays:
» 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Oliver Headquarters in Nashville

» 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Oliver Headquarters in Bloomington
(115 E. Second St. Suite 3)
If you prefer to get out and meet people face-to-face, come join our canvassers.
If you've never gone door knocking before, you'll be paired with an experienced canvasser as well as given training and a script to follow. It's a great way to meet new people in your neighborhood and see parts of town you might not have seen before.
Currently canvassing teams go out on a regular schedule in Monroe County:
» Saturdays 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and 2:00-4:00 p.m.
» Sundays 2:00-4:00 p.m.
